I am a writer based in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. My passion is fiction, and I returned to the craft several years ago after taking time off to raise my kids and build my career in marketing and communications.
Once my kids achieved independence, the stars were in alignment for me to write again. Very soon after that, I discovered a blogging platform where there were many writers pursuing their writing ambitions and many creative writing opportunities, including writing contests. I loved the idea of using this platform (formerly Steem, now Hive) to build my chops and establish some street cred.
For several years I’ve been one of the admins in a short story community called The Ink Well. I also self-publish short stories in the community on occasion, though I am much more focused on writing and submitting stories to literary magazines and anthologies.
